This board came about as a collaboration with Ryan Sakal and Chris Christenson. As an entry into the Vissla Cosmic Creek Surf Contest where Chris selected Ryan to be his surfer for the event both Chris and Ryan combined ideas to shape then both ride this board in the event. The board is a modern take on the Ben Aipa Sting with a few extras. Medium/low entry rocker flows into a slight vee with double concave exiting out the tail. The wing has a slight flute for added bite and hold. This board is a fun and surprisingly loose traditional single fin. Fun in any conditions but shines in head high open face waves.
